Documentation
Welcome!
With OnScale Solve, set up finite element models using our web-based modeler then run your simulations on our infinitely scalable High Performance Computing platform.
Get simulation results many times faster than is possible with legacy Computer Aided Engineering tools.
What you can do
OnScale supports 3D implicit static mechanical analyses, thermal analyses, thermomechanical analyses, modal analyses and fluid dynamics. Don’t worry, we will regularly be updating and improving our capabilities and functionality.
Accounts
We offer three types of account:
- Free
- Pro
- Team
- Enterprise
You can use OnScale Solve for free with 10 core-hours included each month. If you’ve not already, why not sign up for an account and check it out for yourself?
Some features of OnScale Solve are restricted to Pro, Team and Enterprise accounts. For full details on what you get with a Pro or Enterprise account, login to the Portal.
Core-hours
In OnScale Solve simulations cost core-hours.
A core-hour is a measurement of computational time by a processor core. Running one CPU core for one hour costs one core-hour.
Each of our account types includes a different number of core-hours per month.
We also offer Overage for Pro, Team and Enterprise accounts. This lets you pay per core-hour should you ever need to go over your usual subscription level in a particular month.
OnScale Solve vs The Portal
OnScale Solve is where you create FEA models and run simulations. In addition, there is the Portal, which is where you can manage your account, billing details, and settings.
