Extracting and Viewing Mode Shapes

OnScale has the ability to extract harmonic data out from the time-domain simulation to give engineers a deeper understanding of how their device behaves at particular frequencies. Here we look at a simple PZT disc and visualize the deformation at the electrical resonance of 1MHz. We can see the harmonics of the radial mode affecting surface dilation of the PZT disc.
